CLT Test Prep Services
I offer CLT Test Prep on a package basis. All plans include the following:
Analysis of practice tests
Analysis of test scores
One-on-one personalized instruction
Live practice on sample questions from all three sections of the CLT
Development of a personalized study plan
All practice sessions are one hour over Zoom.
Students can book one to two practice sessions per week, depending on their needs and how soon their upcoming CLT test date is scheduled for. The more time you have before your CLT, the more practice we can do and the more relaxed our pace and efforts can be.
I do not book more than two sessions per week. High schoolers need time to decompress and to focus on other areas: their regular studies; time with their families, friends and communities; and the things that make life beautiful.
Let me come alongside your family and help prepare your student to take the CLT with confidence and ease.

What is the CLT?
The Classic Learning Test is a standardized college-entrance exam designed as an alternative to the SAT and the ACT. The CLT uses passages from classic literature and historical documents that are grounded in tradition.
From the CLT website:
Classic Learning Test (CLT) exists to reconnect knowledge and virtue by providing meaningful assessments and connections to seekers of truth, goodness, and beauty.
What do we mean by “knowledge” and “virtue”? As far back as Plato, the goal of education was understood as developing both intellect and character in students. Its purpose was to help students become better human beings.
Standardized tests should reflect that same goal. They should leave students feeling inspired and enriched while equipping them to pursue their goals. That’s why our tests feature beautiful and meaningful content in addition to assessing timeless academic skills.
The CLT can be taken online or in person and is accepted by over 250 partner colleges and universities. The exam takes two hours to complete, and scores are released within eight days. For more information, check out their website.
